Abstract & Objectives

 

This continuing education module is to be taken only by those person who have purchased the booklet, Bullying in the Workplace: Reversing a Culture.

The purpose of this CE module is to provide an opportunity for RNs to learn about “bullying” and horizontal violence. This educational program will offer an in-depth examination of the phenomena of bullying, including the consequence and methods to address bullying in the workplace.

Objectives:

1. Explain the phenomena of “bullying” and implications for nurses in today’s healthcare environment
2. Discuss the impact and consequences of “bullying”
3. Describe effective strategies to address bullying in the workplace

The American Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
